OCB Office Renovation at the Hallmark Building, Ho Chi Minh City

TECO has completed a bank office renovation for OCB on the 4th floor of the Hallmark building, 15 Tran Bach Dang, An Khanh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City. The office kept running as normal throughout the works, and all work was carried out after hours.

Project requirements

This is a bank office in daily use. During the day staff work as usual, with files, computers and equipment left in place. The requirements were:

  • No interruption to office operations.
  • No damage to assets, files or equipment in use.
  • A clean floor ready for staff every morning.
  • Compliance with the building management’s construction rules.

How TECO ran the works

All work after hours

The crew arrives after the bank’s working hours and leaves before opening time. Each shift is limited to one zone, so the zone is closed off by the end of the shift and nothing is left half-finished overnight.

Protecting the floor and walkways

Before each shift, the carpeted floor, walkways and desks around the work zone are covered with protective sheeting. Materials are brought in along the agreed route and within the hours allowed by the building.

Cleaning straight after each shift

As soon as a section of work is finished, the crew cleans it and removes the protection. The next morning the office runs as normal.

Programme and handover

The project was completed on programme, with all work done after hours. The work area was handed over tidy and consistent, ready for use, and the office did not have to stop operating for a single day.
